J9 - The Miracle Unseen

J9 , a 29 years-old female suffered from non-ischemic cardiomyopathy . She was in Class Ill-IV heart failure (the borderline of needing a heart transplant) and on maximal oral medical therapy. Her preoperative echocardiogram showed an Ejection Fraction (EF) of 31%.

After her three-month MRI results were analyzed, J9's NYHA heart failure class was clearly I (the mildest). Her EF jumped to 41% and she returned to a normal, active life with her husband and three-year-old son.
